At IMPACT FESTIVAL, businesses have the power to impact society and the environment positively. That’s why we created the IMPACT AWARD, an annual award that honors start-ups and companies with sustainable and impactful business models.

The IMPACT AWARD celebrates businesses committed to creating a better world. By recognizing and rewarding them, we hope to inspire others to follow their lead and positively impact their communities.

The application phase is over. We are not accepting any more submissions.

We'll evaluate submissions based on these criteria

efficiency

We understand that businesses need to be profitable to survive and grow. However, businesses are also responsible for positively impacting society and the environment. We’ll be looking for businesses that have found a way to balance these two objectives.

common good

Businesses have a role in creating a more just and equitable society. We’ll be looking for businesses that are committed to creating a positive impact on their communities, whether that’s through job creation, supporting local suppliers, or other initiatives.

IMPACT OVER TIME

Creating a positive impact is an ongoing process. We’ll be looking for businesses that have made significant progress in the last three years, whether through introducing new sustainability initiatives, expanding their impact on new communities, or other efforts.

Use of profits

Businesses have a responsibility to use their profits for good. We’ll be looking for businesses using their profits to further their impact goals, whether through reinvesting in their business, supporting social or environmental causes, or other initiatives.

We understand that creating a sustainable business model can be challenging. That’s why we’re offering the winners of the IMPACT AWARD individual workshops and consulting. In the categories Seed and Growth, the winners will receive workshops at the agency “brighter future“, in the category transformation at Gemeinwohl-Ökonomie.

Amplify your exposure through IMPACT FESTIVAL

We want to help you to get the recognition you deserve for your sustainable efforts. That’s why we’ll feature the IMPACT AWARD winner in a press release and features on or media channels. This will help you increase your visibility and reach a wider audience.
